August 20, 2018
On Monday, August 20th, 2018 we had some schedules from Pangasinan State University. We woke up earlier end then went to Lingayen at 07.30 am. We arrived in Lingayen at 09.00. the driver stopped in front of the gate of PSU Lingayen to wait for some students. After we were all complete, we continued our jouney and went to Governor Office of Pangasinan. When I arrived in Governor Office, I was very surprised because the building was so great.
This building is a Spanish Heritage. A big building with many pilar prop up the roof. We got warm welcome from The Governor staff. They also explained us about the building and the meaning of the picture logo in the Governor Office.
We also had an opportunity to look at the actual meeting of Pangasinan Goverment about the rule decision for Pangasinan Citizens. That was great thing they give us an opportunity to get to the meeting.
After we finished our session in the Governor Office, we also visited the place that Princess Urduja used to live at or Princess Urduja house. Princess Urduja is a 14th-century legendary warrior princess of the dynastic Kingdom of Tawalisi in Pangasinan, a vast area by the shores of the Lingayen Gulf and the China Sea. Though whether or not she actually existed is in contention among scholars, she is still considered a popular heroine and Philippine icon, especially in Pangasinan.
One of staff in the Governor Office who followed us because she would like to explain about the history of Princess Urduja, abour her strength and grandeur.
We walked around the building and then we finished our visit. After that, we were going to another building for we were just take picture inside.
