The fifth day in PSU Bayambang Campus was the first day for me to have observation in the school. Today, all of us ready earlier because we would go to the lab school and got our first day observation. Maam Agnes (coordinator for high school in Bayambang Campus) and Maam Pink (coordinator for elementary school in Bayambang Campus) guided us to go to PSU lab school. We walked around in each building and we went to PSU Integrated School-High School Department. The principal and teachers in high school was greeted us warmly with smile. The principal divided us to the mentor according to our major. And my mentor was Miss Carpio. Besides me, miss carpio also became a mentor of my friend, she was Aldita who was also majoring in economics education like me. Unfortunately, Miss Carpio had a class so we must looking for her. Furthermore, we found her in college class and then Maam Agnes introduced us to Miss Carpio. Miss Carpio allowed us to enter the classroom and we must wait for her for a while. After Miss Carpio’s class ended, she invited us to go upstair in second floor to meet our friend who also gonna practice teaching, like Dita and I. They were local students and their major was social sciences. They were very kind and friendly, so even though this was first time we met them, we could feel comfortable with them.
In the afternoon, precisely at 11 a.m, Aldita and I went back to our dorm and we were going to come back to school at 1 p.m to observe the activity. When I had lunch, there was beautiful girl looking for me. Apperently, she was my buddy. Waaaaaaa I was very happy. Finally, I got my buddy. She was younger than me, she is 19 years old. Her major is Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) in PSU Bayambang Campus and 4th years now.
When I would go back to school, my buddy always accompanied me and waiting for me after I finished my observation. Aldita and I had schedule to observe in grade 10-K at 2 p.m to 3 p.m. We met local students when we had observation and they had observation also in the same grade with us. Unfortunately, Miss Carpio used Tagalog (Philippines Language) to explain the lesson, so I could understand what she said. So, I always asked to local students what Miss Carpio said, and the local students helped us to understand the lesson. They were very kind and patient to respond us.
After we finished our observation, we were on the way to go to our dorm. But, before we arrived in our dorm, I asked my buddy to accompany me to go to the library because I wanted to borrow economic book. And finally, our first day to have obsevation was finished.
